Analysis of Battle Cry

John M. Piziurny 1939 (Saskatoon)

Raging flames in the sky lighting up the night.  Bullets screaming by.  Wishing not to die.  It is the dark of night.  Trying to win the hill and abolish fear.  Screaming rockets roar across the night.  There is fear.  There is fright.  This is an endless night. All noise comes to an end. and you pray to God that this is the end.
