Analysis of dependant
it is a little ironic
how I once wrote a poem
about how you are everything
because that,
that was the whole problem
and it's ironic because I never noticed
I never noticed the weight that I put on your shoulders just by believing that
and it's ironic because
now you are gone
and I’m not angry with you
I could never be
I know why you left me
all because of that stupid little statement
that I believed a little too much
you are not everything,
you were never meant to be everything
and I’m sorry
I’m sorry for not realizing how much I could hurt you with that one stupid little statement

About this poem
this one is about the realization that the relationship I had with my previous ex girlfriend was entirely too dependent and feeling like me making her my everything was one of the reasons we didn’t work out
