Analysis of Earth
Aasiyah 2006 (USA)
I'm like the earth-
I take the strikes
I take it all
Filled with tears
Hot at the core,
Layers deep
Docile, asleep,
Shaking in pain
A hurricane, is my breath
And a tornado
is my exhale
And my volcano
is my fury
and my rage
And my mountains
Are a stage
for my winds to blow
For me to see the sky,
a canopy
I'm surrounded by space
The stars in their place,
I walk around the sun
Trying to get closer
To everyone
And the moon is my child,
And the clouds hold my tears
And I formed very fast,
In a couple billion years
And I'm rotating in slow motion,
And I'm moving with grace
Everyday
