Analysis of 8:58 am
in another life,
we’re arguing at the kitchen table while making a grocery list
because you want to buy ready-made iced coffee for mornings but I prefer tea
in another life,
we are throwing water balloons at people from the rooftops of the hotel in the city we are visiting because travelling is both our favourite thing to do
in another life,
I’m playing you the songs I wrote when we were sixteen because I think you’re the last person I’ll ever want to love
in another life,
we are lighting a bunch of candles in the living room and reading the books we both love
in another life,
we’ll say forever and mean it
