Analysis of The Sacrifice
Then said I, here am I, Lord; send me, I’ll be the sacrifice.
The veil must be removed, whatever the cost, whatever the price.
From Your chosen ecclesiastical lost sheep and the other fold,
Everything crooked must be straightened, all truth must be told.
I mourned, cried, prayed; I submitted to all the revelations,
For I am that I am revealed His words in my Lamentations;
My psalm and proverbs, with these I ask the question, why?
And answer; Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny!
Life perfected in all aspects of His gifts, and so, Leviticus:
Laws of guidance for the tribe, in the beginning, from the Exodus.
We’ve forgotten, turned our backs, and lost our great numbers,
Wanted judges and kings instead of His will; we still live, a wonder;
Over and over, oft-repeated, with mercies; Adam to Muhammad,
Still blind, deaf, and dumb, so ignorant, it is terribly sad.
But then the truth for us to believe has been hidden, covered up.
One must step forward, take a chance, and take away this cup.
The veil must be removed, whatever the cost, whatever the price;
Then said I, here am I, Lord; send me, I’ll be the sacrifice.
