Analysis of The Calm before the Storm : Epiloge
Jason Marriner 1980 (Pensacola)
In her eyes I see the truest reflection of me
In her words I hear the sounds of love spoken with truth and honesty
I'm laying here beside her and my heart is pounding in my chest
She has my arm wrapped around her, pulled in close, tonight I am truly blessed
My inner strength, my reason for being, is this feeling, right here, right now
I'm lost in the sounds of her slumber, the peace in my mind, she loves me and I still wonder how
In her I find a Calm, a quiet peace of mind
In me she stirs up a Storm of emotions I thought I'd never find
On the surface I am content and unwavering
But when she is in my arms, I lose all self control as my will starts tapering
I find myself growing dependant upon her scent, her touch
When she's not around I'm weak and irritable from missing her so much
There's so much I need to tell her, so much I need to say
But I'm so lost in this moment I just can't find the way
She has my heart and this is a known fact
For now I just close my eyes and let the world around us just fade to black
