Analysis of Honest Life
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Let brotherly love continue,
Neglecting not any strangers;
It might be angels visiting you,
But vigilant to the dangers.
Remember the ones in prison,
And the ones who are mistreated;
The suffering that has been done,
That another might have cheated.
Let marriage be held in honor,
The marriage bed undefiled;
To your partner be a fawner,
God will judge who becomes wild.
God judges sexual adulterers,
All things lustfully immoral;
Buffering all the sufferers,
Forced into something abnormal.
Avoid any love of money,
Be content with what you possess;
God will give you milk and honey,
For prospering that He will bless.
He will never leave nor forsake,
The Lord is your help and your aid;
He will be guiding you to make,
While living never afraid.
