Analysis of Angel in the dew
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
Her pupil closed to a pin prick
And the last image she saw
As she lay her beaten head
Upon the woodland floor
Was an angel in the dew
Coming forth in awe
Of the life that she once knew
And all that it was for
Its light filled it like molten
Lava on the shore
And she wondered what to ask
Of what it was all for
She didn't have long now
She felt death for sure
But all she wanted more
Was to feel the dew lit floor
But her body in the starlight
Had nothing left to give
So she dreampt of the angel
With her eyes open aswell
