Analysis of Weep

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Although my head bursts with pain
And my inner body is layn down
Although my soul aches
And my pen is worn
Though the smiles have been gone
For so long I forgot their names
And the push to stardome weans and fanes
Them, they never call on my name
And my story told of who's to blame
Where shores grow dry as the oceans draw back their backwards then their forwards games
And the delight goes whatever or in vane
As the people pass before my eyes
Into the twinklings of the skies
And the faithful friends come and then go
Never to be heard or spoken now
And the body is left rubbed and boned
And my hands shaken just so I know that
I think of where I am to go and what to do
as my goal seems threw
But it never is, who knows why,
Or maybe it is
And I never knew
that I had died.
