Analysis of Tired
Julie Carranza 1086 (Los Angeles)
At 6 I hear him accost my sister,
I'm tired
At 7 they send HER away; soon it'll be my turn,
I'm tired
At 11 nothing has happened BUT I met drugs,
I'm tired
At 14 I've lost track of time, days even months,
I'm tired
At 16 I'm lost I can't remember myself and I can't find my mom,
I'm tired
At 18 I'm pregnant; someone will finally Love me,
I'm not so tired
