Analysis of Ready To Come Home
Ready To Come Home
By Renae Lopez Jack
I look into my bedroom mirror
And I don't like what I see.
Tears start to roll down my face like April showers
I begging and pleading .
For someone to rescue me
I ask myself a million times over in my head.
God, why don't you hurry up and take me ?
The pain ,the tears .How much more ?
How much more cand my soul bare of this ?
My walls around me are breaking down
I am trying really hard
To fight the voices in my head that I hear over and over
All I hear is ,"you're a No good embarrassment, ugly , crazy.
Each day that I hear those word
Playing o er in my head like a record player
It's like a stabbing knife to my heart
Look into my eyes you will see the pain
Can't you see all the obstacles that I had to face
You make me out to be a outkast
I will find a way to get through
I will find a way to be strong
I will find a way to show you
But in the meantime
I will still ask God why doesn't he take me home
