Analysis of Shades

Tamanna Sharma 2006 (Dehradun)

Behind those shades
Behind those canopy of black glasses,
Lies a dense forest,
Whose expectations often surpasses.

A forest whose soil  fades the imprints of your
Feet so that you cannot take the path back,
And you are sealed by the branches for eternity,
In the woods of disastrous black.

And you go ahead until you find yourself out in a sky full of constellations,
where divinity shines like the rays of sun touching the ocean,

And a holy gaze hits you,
It's warmth feels like lying on the feets of Helios itself,
which you are accustomed to somehow,
And your obliviated soul do not seek the light of the mortal world  now.
