Analysis of THE MIDNIGHT RAMBLINGS OF A POETIC MIND THE BIRTH OF MAD HIPPIE POET

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Like Clark Kent is Super Man I am the mad hippie poet with the almighty pen in hand I don’t need tights and a cape sit back relax listen to the words which I recite if I get you to smile, laugh or cry who knows I just might. Not much to do about anything it is 12am I need to be up soon only if I can sleep until noon. Like the rest of us, we were made for this pick up your pen and drop it on down on those thin blue lines just like you drop a kiss up upon your lover's lips. Call me the mad hippie poet I just might smoke you out or with my words have you feel as if you are on an acid trip.

I am the rebel with the ear-deafening yell. I am the voice of the voiceless I am the shaman when they need to heal from the things that they no longer want to feel. You & I  are the storytellers who speak of those things that lay upon our tired heads  that others do not believe as being real so they sleep soundly in their beds while you and I scramble like my eggs for pen and paper to write down our thoughts a lesson to us poets is never taught

My life has been one hell of a ride different versions of me being washed away during high tide. I created what I needed to survive. there is a story to be told behind the name mad hippie poet but the time is neither here nor there.

I have no image to protect so think of me what you will because at the end of the day it's not my mirror that you look at or the sleep you may lose I lost my mind to find my soul. midnight ramblings may not make any sense but for a couple of hours long it going to be my song and dance.
I  write to write because it is my passion it is in my blood, yes it falling once again on the witching hour but there is nothing like relaxing to good tunes and flowers I wanna dream but yet I  do not care to sleep I am too busy planning the uprising of my alter ego who would rather stay up all night writing I am the mad hippie poet just like Bruce Wayne is Batman I have been and am those words which in the candlelight I franticly write so I to you they I can recite I am a storyteller from the days which have faded and the nights which we need not forget I am the Mad Hippie Poet and everyone needs  a taste once again of madness to cut the rope and be free
