Analysis of Creation and Scripture
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Heaven declares glory of God,
And the sky above will proclaim;
The firmament His work to laud,
By giving homage to His name.
Day unto day uttering speech,
Knowledge revealed night into night;
There are no words that would beseech,
That will not sincerely delight.
Their voice will go throughout the earth,
Their words to the end of the world;
As the night to the stars give birth,
Comets and meteors are hurled.
He sets a temple for the sun,
Which comes out at the light of dawn;
The groom knows what has to be done,
For making the darkness be gone.
Rising from the end of Heaven,
The darkness is hidden away;
The light from the sun is given,
For bringing on a brand new day.
