Analysis of I Exist

I exist
I am not invisible
Yet, the system sees the invisible hand and cannot see me
According to it, I am not a thought nor am I a concern
But, correction - I exist
Born as a chance
Born because of convenience
However, I refuse to allow life's deck shuffle to define me
So, yes I exist
And, I demand for the system to respect my existence
Or, force me to meet it by resistance
To that effect, to know my existence is to see me
Meet me where I am at
Hear what I am saying
Digest my words
Observe my ten toes plant themselves onto the floor rug
So, for you to respect my existence it is to see, absorb, and engage with me
Not as you see fit
But, on the terms I deliver
So, when you choose to interact with me
Look into my eyes
And, in doing so is to see my existence,
Acknowledge my ancestors,
Dance with my maternal lineage while eating supper with my paternal lineage
The very lineage driven by the Caribbean Sea which is met with low evening sunsets
