Analysis of Through sorrow there is hope and light
Jadyn Arroyo 2007 (Pennsylvania)
Some days I feel deluded and inanimate from being constantly belated by others. Sometimes I imagine myself as an edifice whose walls are strong. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean I don't feel like collapsing but instead knead through most of my pains to become stronger and balance my pains with fulfillment. I like to say I'm ambidextrous, in a way. People may see others as berserk or plain crazy by their ideas and stands, but those very people who you call names and call delusion may be the ones who know their value. These people help promote egalitarianism throughout the world and can influence society, possibly lower chauvinistic behavior; imperfection is beauty, and madness is ostentatious, learn from your mistakes in life. Take accountability and forgive yourself as you do with others, that is one thing I learnt over my time of living.

About this poem
I wrote this poem, when I was very depressed in life;thinking that I'll never make anyone proud and im a disappointment. But being able to grow, live, learn and ect I began to grow my self esteem. As people read this poem I want them to feel comfort in that they might not be the only weird one out there. I want people to see this and be like "wow im not the only one who is struggling. Their your sorrow and madness there is hope and faith awaiting.
