Analysis of Sands Of The Mind

Joseph m. Novo 1951 (Watsonville Ca)

If each memory
Be a grain of sand
Then the world would think
Of everything wonderful
The world would offer
To each and every one
For with all worldly thoughts
Sending out a message
To be buried in the sand
Building castles of dreams
They are washed away
With the tides of time
Only to be rebuilt
After the tides recede
Rising higher than before
So sail into the rising sun
Looking for an island green
Resting our hearts under shady palms
