Analysis of Divorce

Love once was the focus
of our lives
till marriage became contentious;
two sharp knives
piercing the heart of it,
killing it.
Teamed hardhearted misfits
dualistic
by nature, antipathetic
where love’s the casualty
and we, just another statistic.
