Analysis of NOT IMPORTANT

Who in the background
tirelessly reaches out
offering whatever they can
to an outstretched hand.
Who are the silent ones
helping to feed
the homeless
the displaced children
the refugee.
Most are nameless
not important by choice
yet totally committed
to being right there
reaching out when needed
with a helping hand.
So I raise my voice
to those not important
you are to the millions
who were helped
in their times of trouble.

About this poem

In life you hear about or maybe know people who are always reaching out, trying to help others, yet their names are not celebrity status, not on your lips status, almost as if not important.
