Analysis of The leaves are long prose that is hard to understand

Sungkyo Kim 1958 (Seoul)

It’s stepping on the road, rolling and sweeping around.
It looks like a Buddha who chose penance.
To break the relationship and lie down in a place where there is no way.
I can’t go back to road.
Looks like a Buddha
Staggering and falling out of the air
Allowed by the sacrifice of leaves
Entry and departure in the fall
One day between summer and winter
The wind that left home wrote
Reading a poem.
I conceded to a fallen leaf whose limbs were torn.
The day I got what I had lost.
The leaves showed lightness.
Nothing is never broken.
Whenever life is as bland as in the afternoon
I was walking in the rain.
The rain was falling inside me.
The leaves are a long prose that is hard to understand.
How much longer do I have to live
Can I nod my head to the hidden face?
When the Buddha went to the temple, I sat in the sea.
The leaf is also a life.

About this poem

If I don’t get enlightenment, you will be born again by anything in the world. I will be enlightened by looking at the leaves.
