Analysis of Infatuated dream

There is a time
Before we wake
A time lost between night and day
This time is filled
With fantasy
A place for the soft dreams to stay
And this is where
I hold you close
I wrap my arms around your waist
And for a time
I live my dream
As part of your love I get to taste
And just before
I must awake
I turned to ask you how you feel
And when you say
That you feel safe
It's then that I swear it's real
But when the sun
In jealous rage
Blazes hot to awaken me
I am alone
In this old world
As if a drift amongst the sea
So I must wait
With heavy heart
Until I see your smile bright
Then once again
Behind the stars
I get to hold you through the night
