Analysis of Absent Father And A Kid who wanted love
Zena Williams 2009 (Calgary)
I kept my distance, I made sure you were okay,
I gave you second chances just for you to make mistakes.
You love me like a rose but push me away
Like dandelions in the wind.
I just wanted a dad instead you ran away.
You taught me manipulation, you taught me anger, Just for you to pretend I didn’t learn it all from you.
You loved me then put my heart into flames.
You burned the home that should have been safe.
You’re a narcissist don’t pretend you did this for anyone but yourself.
I was a kid father and you drowned me I was just a kid.
