Analysis of fork in the road

Jacob Bates 2007 (redlands CA)

there's a fork in the road
I gaze my eyes upon it
it makes me think
it makes me wonder
why is there this fork in the road
who put it there
what is it trying to tell me
I see a fork in the road
and I do not move
I am puzzled
there's a fork in the road
what do I do?
