Analysis of No ryme no reason

No Ryme, No reason.

You come in the dark or the broad sunlight day,
No time, no warning,
We all at some point, must pay.

You come to the playgrounds and the care homes,
No love, no more time, no such thing as safe zones.

You come in drawn out pain,
Taking pieces, with time like the sea on the shore
Till our loved ones are shadows of who they were, then no more.

You come without warning,
Shock and horror, your game.
Ensuring we all know, our lives will never, ever be the same.

No ryme no reason,
You take our loved ones, break our hearts, cause treason, your reach even broader.

For we believed in hope, in love and fairness, that time would bless us, keep track and order.

You come without care,
No time for our reason, our order of sorts, no son before father, you reach even further

No ryme, no reason,
Just time moving on
No thoughts of life's tricks and treason.

Just a heartbreaking reminder,
That you come when you want, no ryme, no reason.

The final goodbye, the coffin held high, rain, sun or snow, regardless of season

All we can do is love all, love and live life, put the hurt, loss and pain, in one of the minds deep down files in a binder, remember them all then try every day to be kinder.

About this poem

Having lost many, of my family and seen so much death over the years including during Belfast war, this is a poem that trys to help everyone face up to accept, and deal with death, as it's part of live going on, as horrible as it has been, it won't go away. This is aimed to help people release abit express the anger they have and maybe move to acceptance.
