Analysis of What do you do?

what do you do when you tour through the years only to be back in the dusty clouds of yesterday?

Where all you see are dreams that were not lived, hopes that were truncated, and trusts that were broken?

The present day is so familiar, that you feel like you've lived it in the past.

It reminds you of so much that you've been unable to do.

You don't mean to be ungrateful but this is raw pain coming from the wounds of futile hard work.

Giving your best that is never enough.

What do you do when you go down on your knees to pray but you don't even know what to say?

You get snapped by the dark days reminding you of how much God could have saved you from.

Okay, you were startled back to reality and angry at yourself for questioning his timing.

Then you managed to say "Dear Lord..."

Hoping the words would come this time without spasms, but again the tears rolled freely leaving you blank and impassive.

Twinkle little star has grown so fast
Now it's wondering who you are.

What do you do when you try to sleep at night but the pillows give you unrest and the bed is seemingly full of thorns?

Maybe you should reflect on the word of God you thought.

You picked up your most preferred version of the Bible yearning to see the promises of God for your life.

But little by little the lines receded until it became just a book.

Through the glasses of your window, you looked up to the sky hoping you find answers.

But you stared at space until you lost count of time and life; Oblivious to how many days or years have gone by.

What do you do when You really want to ask God Why but you're scared he might get angrier and call you Faithless?

What do you do when you're stuck between Crossroads without a clue on which route you should take?

Fearful it might be another misstep that will dampen the second half of you that is only responsive to hurt.

You have tried to retrace your steps but how do you make up for the lost thirty years?

what do you do when everything is utterly meaningless and cold as ice?

what exactly do you do?
