Analysis of Aleph 1
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Bless those who are undefiled,
Walking in the Law of the Lord;
In being a righteous child,
And remaining in one accord.
Bless who keep His testimonies,
And seeking Him with their whole heart;
Avoiding the preaching phonies,
From the true Word that they distort.
They will not do iniquity,
Because of walking in His ways;
Having just thoughts of purity,
The Word of God that He obeys.
God has commanded His precepts,
And being kept diligently;
Remaining in righteous concepts,
Abiding in them fervently.
My ways are steadfast in keeping,
His statutes as He directed;
Because they stop any weeping,
From adversities affected.
I will never be put to shame,
As my eyes are fixed on His Word;
His commandments I will proclaim,
Ensured that everyone has heard.
I praise Him with an upright heart,
Always learning His righteous rules;
The moral judgment I impart,
That condemns the defiled fools.
I keep His statutes to profess,
Knowing that He will not forsake;
But in knowing that He will bless,
Some day to Heaven He will take.
