Analysis of Jesus Paid It All

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

When you live by the sword;
Then you die by the same.
When you don’t heed the word;
Then there’s no one to blame.

If you can’t find the answer
In the letter I wrote;
Check your mail every day
And I’ll drop you a note.

You know that my love
Is the door you must enter.
If you knock I’ll come in
And I’ll give you a center!

You know that I love you
And I always will;
Though your debt was enormous,
I still paid your bill!
