Analysis of CHASING
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
If I am not chasing myself then who am I chasing? these thoughts which I now notice like I notice a lost friend are just memories with a starting point and no end. my eyes continue to see the beauty and the ugliness in a world that some would refuse to embrace. what is hidden in my heart and mind are the treasures I have kept over time somewhat of a guide as I continue chasing reality or a dream.
What emotions that are not mine am I feeling if I am the match to the flame, the rain to the clouds once again the vibrations are getting loud and this old soul is connected to those who lived their misunderstood lives proudly.
There will be no mercy shown while chasing and mastering this final test sent to me by my ancestors and all the Gods up above I love it when it comes down to push and shove. if I am not chasing myself then who am I chasing, being my shadows are always following me?
