Analysis of Coronating of the Son
Why do the nations rage,
The people plot in vain;
They do not act their age,
Making others feel pain.
The kings of the earth set,
As the rulers take counsel;
Making the people fret,
Woke culture to cancel.
They go against the Lord,
Bursting the bonds apart;
For God has been ignored,
As they harden the heart.
God who sits in Heaven,
Holds them in derision;
His laugh has been given,
Widens the division.
He shall speak in His wrath,
Vex them in His fury;
To Zion block their path,
Fear drives them to scurry.
For the Lord will decree,
Because You are His Son;
He has begotten thee,
Do what God has begun.
Break the rod of iron,
Dash them into pieces;
And prepare for Zion,
After the hate ceases.
Be wise now O you kings,
O rulers of the earth;
Laud the Son as He brings,
Zion into new birth.
Serve the Lord in your fear,
Rejoice as you tremble;
Because the time comes near,
Worship to assemble.
Kiss the Son anger not,
You perish in the way;
Wrath brings on distraught,
Blessings if you obey.
