Analysis of Scent of the wood
As the ripened berries pop
And we walk after the rain has stopped
And the scent of the wood
Freshens the mind, and God
whitens the clouds with his sunlit eye
With its radience again begun we try
the essence of earth realised as one
And the birds await your silent eyes
As they bask in the warmth of the spotlit skies
And the fallen trees collect dew dropped moss
And the memories seem impossible of us
As they reawaken in our spirit of love
As it swirls around us from above
I hold your hand and we talk of trials
Each step growing closer to our goals
And we part with a gentle kiss goodbye
Looking upon the gladness we have devised
And I tell you I love you as you tell me
And our love will last for eternity
Replenished and strong our hearts are at peace
As we dream of walking through fields of sheep
And the lamb of God we finally meet
As he silently breaths our names to his fleet
And the splay of angels greet each step of our feet
And they slowly move beside our beat
And the visions meet our kindest eye
And the dew turns to teardrop filled sighs
on high
Reunited as the ivory grows full and thick
Embedding the berries as the garden flourishes and the earthly light loosens its grip
And we rise together like that on our most tender trip
As we slip away into the silent night
The neons replace our little lights
And the bustling earth so far from we
Spinning like a marble as we're ushered away
I wonder where humanity will find its stay
Or if it will be there infinitely
So we might return some distant day
To breath in the scent of the wood and pray
