Analysis of Blossoming night

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

In the bosom of the night
Therein shon so very bright
a thought to broaden found insight
That which could make the righteous right
And bring the impoverished from their plight;
Draw light's angels to the might
To witness the scales bend tonight
With endless motion taking flight
To be lost from the hold that grips too tight
Never to feel again the fight
A nurtured soul fading high into the light
