Analysis of TRY ME

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I have memories of my past that I care to let go of, this new version of me continues to grow so I at the moment am the only one you know. you can no longer try to drown me in your river crying you are free so you are a sinner who we hoped would die again in the cold of the winter.

Save your prayers for they are not for me I am a wandering soul you see so your savior might just be me but judging is not my cup of tea so I will allow you to fuck yourself and karma will now let me be.

There are more of us than you will ever know with our broken halos and crooked crowns. you seek the lies of books while we have the truth of experiences of other lives.

Try me for I am the moon when the sun goes down
Try me for I am the sound that blankets the nights' skies and the stars all around.
