Analysis of Death to Life
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
God being rich in His mercy,
Because of His great love for us;
Will listen to us when we plea,
With problems that we face as thus.
Even when we were dead in sin,
He made us alive within Christ;
By His grace, you are saved within,
For what He had been sacrificed.
He had raised us up together,
Seated in heavenly places;
And for worshipping, we gather,
In His church blessed with His graces.
So that in the coming ages,
For measureless riches of grace,
And advancing to new stages,
Of kindness to feel His embrace.
For by His grace, you have been saved,
Through your faith as a gift from God;
No longer through sin that had enslaved,
Lest any man should boast that was flawed.
