Analysis of Creation Praise
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Praise the Lord who’s up in Heaven,
Praise the Lord who is up in height;
Praise Him for all He has given,
His glory shines brighter than sunlight.
Praise the Lord and all His angels,
Praise the Lord the heavenly host;
Who rescues us from the troubles,
And guarded by the Holy Ghost.
Praise the Lord for the moon and sun,
Praise Him for all the shining stars;
Praise Him for all that He has done,
Enabled us for healing scars.
Praise Him in the highest Heaven,
Praise Him for life-giving waters;
Praise for fertility given,
The birth of sons and daughters.
Let us praise the name of the Lord,
That He commanded to create;
Praise Him and be in one accord,
Pray to Him as you meditate.
He has established us forever,
And it shall never pass away;
Never let His decree sever,
Trusting in Him as you obey.
