Analysis of Elderly Help
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
O God, be not far from me,
Please make haste to render aid;
Because I know you can see,
This place has made me afraid.
May my foes be put to shame,
Consumed with scorn and disgrace;
Try to dishonor Your name,
As they have spat in my face.
I will hope continually,
And praise you yet even more;
They think not perceptually,
What the future has in store.
My mouth tells of righteous acts,
Deeds of salvation all day;
Having knowledge of the facts,
About those who disobey.
For I will go in Your strength,
Persistent with righteousness;
Persevering at the length,
Because of Your graciousness.
