Analysis of FALLING LIKE MOTHER EARTH

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

The smoke is in the sky tears are falling from my eyes. This struggle and this fight are getting the best of me. I am trying to keep a calm mind. I am trying to watch the words that fall from my mouth like the ashes I see falling.

If I was the one who was hand chosen to go into this battle that can not be lost but won, why was I given bullets without a gun?

My wings are spread open I am ready to fly as the fires burn through the woods and the flames continue to be misunderstood. There is nothing that the pouring water can do when like my soul, the spirits that hide within the million flames want to burn wild everyone and everything needs to understand that we all are mother earths child
