Analysis of What do I have to do with love?

What do I have to do with love?
That she follows me everywhere I go.
I looked into a mirror and screamed,
for she appears in the background.

What do I have to do with love?
That she knocks loudly at my door.
It's early morning, get yourself some coffee,
She's stubborn, she prefers a plate of my rice.

What do I have to do with love?
That she holds my hand in public.
Looking at her, she feels safe with me,
What charm did I do to make her stay?

What do I have to do with love?
That she dances whenever she finds me.
To her, I am the one. To me, she's out.
But she never gets convinced I don't need her.

What do I have to do with love?
That in my depth of gloom she visits me.
It's like she comes with all weathers,
so that my blanket won't be at peace.

What do I have to do with love?
That I hate her, but she always loves me back.
My goal's to use her, but she doesn't call me a pretender,
What did I do to deserve love?
