Analysis of I hope you enjoyed the ride

I once had a love that was like none before. She was loyal and honest, the one I could count on for sure. The kind of love that gave me faith, that not all women are unfaithful. She had my back, that's a fact, and for that, I was grateful. Sure, life wasn't perfect, there were good times and bad. We both carried baggage, filled with pain from our past. Low self-esteem and insecurities, kept both our fences tall. With time, she made me feel safe, I finally could tear down my walls. I thought she had the same feelings, but I guess I was wrong. For as it turned out, her walls stayed tall all along. I turned my self inside out for this woman, I had no demons to hide. While I helped her fix damage from relationships left behind. She was my rock to hold on to when my mom passed away. Told her I'd be thankful till my dying day.....THENBANG!!! Things went sideways, the words she spoke blew my mind. "I had a moment of weakness, I  only fucked him one time." So many years tossed away, it's so hard to find trust. She won't be transparent, and for me that's a must. So as I move forward, the love inside me has died. A sad end to our story, I hope she enjoyed the ride.
