In the smoldering heat,
A moistened thirst
Clings to the air.
Lips,
Teased by droplets'
Embrace,
Quiver in anticipation,
Aching
With a throbbing desire.

The earth,
A hungry canvas,
Craves the fertile
Strokes of rain,
Each drop
A sensual caress,
Tracing the contours
Of desire,
Leaving trails
Of soaked ecstasy.

Residue of passion,
Drenched,
Bedazzles
The asphalt canvas,
Rivulets
Of lust intertwined,
Whispering secretations
Of ardor
Onto the petrichor
Ground.

As raindrops
Dance their wet waltz,
Desire's crescendo
Reaches its peak,
A tempestuous rainfall,
Falling
In sensual undulations,
Erotic rhythm
Amidst
The steamy mist.

The last rain,
A tantalizing affair,
Wraps a dampened
Web of pleasure
