Analysis of CONVERSATION
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
These conversations are getting louder with every outspoken voice inside my head. Tell me what I want to hear because I am going deaf with these thoughts racing through my mind as if it was the Indy 500
Who am I having these conversations with when I am the only person? And things in the room are spinning, but I have not in days in my hand had a drink. Why do these images and sounds continue to have me think?
I am sitting in this chair I have sat in many times before, but it is of different color and shape, and the doors seem wider. The lights go bright from dim I am feeling haunted from the outside in
Why am I having these dreams inside this conversation when all I want to do is sleep, drink, write, and repeat? Have I finally gone mad with my pen in my hand? That is my sword. I write until it feels like my arm will fall off. In this conversation, I keep asking if the voices of gods and idols will finally be heard.
Come on, stand or sit next to me. Let us have conversations of the intellectual kind, the kind no one no longer cares to talk about, like how the hell the universe works, what brings passion and fire. Into your heart, let us have a deep conversation if you do not know how to allow me to begin.
