Analysis of August 4th 2023, 2:39 pm
I wonder if sometimes you think of me
the same way I always think of you
not about how bittersweet our story was
or that we almost made it
I wonder if the thought of what could have been keeps you awake at night
or if you tend to overthink the little things
does the thought of me
making a home with someone
who isn’t you make your heart twist
and your stomach drop?
or is that only me who thinks that?
