Analysis of The Ancients
Julian S. Milam 1978 (new boston)
In a world of whispers lost, trapped,
Where minds entwined, once free, adapt,
A symphony of shadows trained,
To dance in darkness, unrestrained.
Beyond the point of sanity,
They roam the depths, eternally,
Their laughter echoes through the night,
A haunting melody of fright.
Within this labyrinth of minds,
The shifting sands, illusion binds,
As dreams and nightmares intertwine,
Unraveling the grand design.
Through mazes vast, they seek escape,
From realms where memories agape,
Yet hope still flickers, like a flame,
Amidst the chaos and the shame.
Amid the whispers and the cries,
A glimmer of a new sunrise,
They strive to break the spectral chains,
Embrace the light, release the pains.
In unity, they'll find the key,
Unlock the door, set their minds free,
No longer bound by darkness' hands,
They'll rise above the shifting sands.
And when they're free, they'll spread their wings,
To soar where imagination sings,
Beyond the realm of twisted fears,
Into a world where love endears.
So let us listen to their plea,
To set their spirits truly free,
And mend the fragments, heal the scars,
To find peace beyond the stars.
