Analysis of I could be dreaming?

Your presence is a soothing stream,
In moonlit thoughts, you softly gleam,
But does my heart remain a dream,
Lost in your world, an unseen theme?

I hold your words like precious gold,
A treasure trove of stories untold,
Do they reveal a hand to hold,
Or leave me stranded, love uncontrolled?

Are these shared glances truly a sign,
Or mere illusions of a heart entwined?
Behind your eyes, mysteries reside,
Leaving me to wonder what you hide.

Do your thoughts dance as mine do,
Or am I caught in a world askew,
With hopes that paint a different hue,
Lost in the chasm of "me" and "you"?

Is it a dream we both pursue,
Or one-sided yearnings that grew?
