Analysis of Curse

Jean-praise Agbali 2005 (Kogi state)

The day began positively, giving me a sense of hope that it would be a good day. However, based on my past experiences, I have come to anticipate that every positive outcome is followed by a negative one. This phenomenon can be likened to the coexistence or absence of light and darkness. Today, l have come to realize that I will be plagued by fear for an extended duration; however, I have resolved to confront and overcome it. Additionally, I have discovered that I am also subject to the Pernicious influence of resentment. It Perplexes me, as intellectually I understand that this sentiment is unjustifiable and destructive, so I make efforts to suppress it, but my emotions defy my intentions. It intensifies during challenging times and subsides during periods of tranquility, yet it consistently lingers, pricking at me like an unwelcome thorn. I yearn to liberate myself from it grip, longing for a profound sense of inner peace.
