Analysis of A stroll within a rainstorm
Jamie Tierney 1991 (Cardiff)
Stroll in sun changed to rain gloom
Seek tree or brace or leave combe
Head held high as dark cloud loom
Soaked through but part of the bloom
Step by step led up hill high
Harsh lash of wind that blurred eye
Lone bird soar and twirl in sky
End wet if ran, walk or fly.

About this poem
Englyn – When caught unprepared as the weather changes, whether you take cover, run home, end up becoming soaked either way. Acceptance from the beginning will minimise any stress and opportunity to absorb the current moment. Lesson that could be applied throughout all areas of life.
