Analysis of Humbled Christians
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
If there is an encouragement,
The involvement of the Spirit;
To love feeling affectionate,
Comfortable in your merit.
My joy is pure in one accord,
Having the same in heart and mind;
Having the same love as the Lord,
Being like-minded and refined.
Stop any selfish ambition,
Causing you vainglory or strife;
Giving the Lord recognition,
Everything that you do in life.
Be humble in your mind and heart,
Consider not any conceit;
Having a newness you can start,
Being open with deceit.
Look not every man what they own,
Think of the interests of others;
Tell them that they are not alone
Assist on the strife that bothers.
