Analysis of Testimony of God
He who came by water and blood,
The Holy Spirit testified;
Not by the water from a flood,
Rather by being crucified.
For the truth is in the Spirit,
That no one could ever deny;
What Christ Jesus did in merit,
Since there are three that testify.
Three that bear record in Heaven,
The Father, Word, and Holy Ghost;
The Triune God that has given,
Us truth of the heavenly host.
Spirit, water, and blood agree,
That our God is three in one;
And the Father sent a decree,
That the Word is really the Son.
With the testimony of men,
God’s testimony is greater;
And states His Son will come again,
To be our liberator.
Whoever believes in the Son,
And in himself has testified;
As their salvation is won,
Having faith in the crucified.
Unbelief makes God a liar,
No faith in the testimony;
Will die in the lake of fire,
Since they are declared a phony.
Eternal life is what God gave,
Because this life is in the Son;
Salvation is how He did save,
Our victory has been won.
If you have life you have the Son,
Those without the Son have no life;
In the darkness, their work is done,
Death is assured amongst their strife.
