Analysis of Am I Dreaming?

Am I dreaming? Or has the universe spoken,
A warning to heed, dangers to be awoken.
Trapped in a corner, a desperate move made,
Unleashing a rage, a fury now displayed.

The world reacts, seeking vengeance to claim,
Their animosity, their wrath to proclaim.
Gasping awake, was it but a nightmare?
The fear, the anxiety, still a haunting scare.

Falling asleep, the dream now becomes real,
Judgment and imprisonment, the punishment to feel.
The guilt, a burden, I cannot escape,
Harm to loved ones, a terrible mistake.

My heart races, my stomach churns,
Reality sinks in, a lesson learned.
Am I dreaming? Or has the universe spoken?
A warning to be heeded, a message unbroken.
