Analysis of Encouraging Prayer
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Rejoice in the Lord always,
Again, I will say rejoice;
Honor Him by giving praise,
Singing aloud with your voice.
Let it be known to all men,
That the Lord is soon at hand;
Avoid trying to condemn,
Those who are too proud to stand.
Be careful about nothing,
Rather everything in prayer;
Supplicate with thanksgiving,
Your request to God you share.
So let the peace of the Lord,
Surpass all understanding;
Keep your heart in one accord,
In Christ and His commanding.
