Analysis of Where Dreams the Boy
Where dreams the boy in muted light
There evergreens in winter blight
Are bundled in the blackened wings
Whose anvil feathers quivering
Sift powder drifts of fallen white.
And in the dampered depth of night
The Deus-lauding Christmas rite,
A pious choir echoing
Where dreams the boy.
Their crystal carols, frail, alight
on Nyx's heft, her onyx might,
Upon the ice lake shimmering,
Within her dark eyes pondering
In silent joy, with whispers slight
Where dreams the boy.
